When Kari and Billy first asked me to photograph their winter wedding, my first question was “Will you take photos in the snow?” — if you’re going to fly me to Roseau, Minnesota in the middle of winter, it’d make me cry to not have a snow covered story to share!

Bundled up, and ready for winter, in one of the coldest January’s ever, I headed off to photograph Nashville Musicians, Kari and Billy‘s Winter Wedding.  And so begins the start of our amazing friendship and many more fun shoots to come!

From their wedding day, to my first artist EPK (Kari and Billy Electronic Press Kit), to an amazing photo-shoot in a South Florida Swamp, Kari and Billy have become so much more than clients to me!  They’ve become amazing friends and I’m so thankful to have these two incredibly talented people in my life.

When the Bridal Guide wanted to publish their sweet wedding, us, over at SKP were ecstatic!  It’s such an honor to be in a National Wedding Magazine, as the wedding photographer.  There’s really nothing cooler (other than, maybe my friend Josh Newton having his absolutely epic Forrest Fire wedding image blasted all over the news around the nation)!  As the couple, Kari and Billy, how fun will it be to show their kids their wedding album and a national wedding magazine that their wedding photos were in?!  Thank you Bridal Guide for publishing.  Thank you, Kari and Billy for having me a part of your wedding day and the rest of your lives as a friend 🙂
