06 Mar Engaged at Jupiter Beach | Krista & Tyler
When Krista called and asked if I would be her wedding photographer, it was basically the most flattering phone call I’ve ever received! “I’ve wanted you to be my wedding photographer since seeing Jay and Kelly’s wedding photos, years ago!” said Krista. We chatted for a bit about her and Tyler’s love of Jupiter, surfing together and how Tyler proposed with a message in the bottle on Jupiter Beach.
Which is adorable, by the way! How Tyler proposed is so creative, burring a message in a bottle at the beach — bringing Krista to the ocean at sunset and intentionally having her sit in the sand near the buried bottle. Krista tells the story of how she didn’t of course know there was a bottle in the sand and actually sat on top of the bottle! 30 minutes into their sunset beach chat, Krista was fidgeting around her, and surprised to find that she was sitting on “something,” “some sort of beach trash…” and of course you can imagine how the rest of the story goes 🙂
We planned their engagement session on the beach at Juno Beach pier at sunrise. With surf boards and champagne we reenacted Tylers proposal and captured some of my favorite sunlit images to date.
