Absolutely love this couple.  You may remember their engagement session we did in Nashville recently.  Kirsti and Marcos are amazingly talented musicians and the sweetest couple on the face of the planet!!  I was honored to photograph their wedding and look forward to seeing them go far with their music.  And to top off their sweetness, along with their newly released cd, they sent me a Starbucks Gift Card!!!  Love them.  Always will.

Still pinching ourselves that we took these ridiculous photos on Matanuska Glacier in Alaska! Josh Newton and Sara Kauss had a vision for Cinderella Style on a Glacier! Thanks to the amazing Britni & Tim, Alyssa & Mike…our vision became a reality! A huge thanks to our amazing CStyle make-up artist, Tess Weaver. Look how beautiful these girls look?!

My amazing husband, Zak is always on the look out for unique photo locations. While fishing one day, Zak wandered upon this sunken sailboat and came home to tell me how cool it would be for photos! I told him it had to be the right couple, to wake up earlier than sunrise, and go on the boat with us while wearing their wedding clothes!

After photographing Erica and Steve’s wedding in New York (http://www.sarakauss.com/blog/2010/06/18/new-york-wedding-erica-and-steve/), I knew they’d be the perfect couple up for this adventure! Erica and Steve are just crazy and fun. What shocked me was how daring Erica was with her her fancy wedding dress from Kleinfeld’s. She and Steve were up on the bow of the boat or climbing in between roots of trees in their wedding attire before I could even say “go!”

Love them! And love my husband for being the boat captain and for finding this completely epic location to shoot :) And I absolutely love my job.

Erica wanted to hold the fish Zak caught before he released it! So funny. And so funny that my fishing husband manages to catch fish wherever we are :)

There are a lot of people to thank for helping me get this event together! First, my business manager, Katie is amazing! Katie was a huge part of the CinderellaStyle planning process. Thank you Pat at Frenchmans Reserve for allowing us to get ready for our crazy fun photo shoot at your beautiful, very accommodating venue. Davis, my uber talented graphic designer, created the CinderellaStyle logo in just days Visual Wave Design, and of course I love it! Daniel Vann and Tess Weaver — your make up for these girls was absolutely outstanding! Daniel is based out of the Palm Beach area (daredevilmakeup@hotmail.com) and Tess is from Alaska (follow her on twitter @tessiestyle) — but both are totally worth whatever it takes to get your make up done by them! They’re awesome. Josh Newton, you’re so great! When I asked my California friend if he wanted to play photo-shoot with me and four gorgeous couples he couldn’t resist! Thank you so much Josh! Have you ever seen the movie Man from Snowy River?!  Okay, so this is nothing like that movie, except for the horse, but it’s one of my all time favorites and I couldn’t help but think about it as I was editing Cami and Chris’ photos :)  How fun is this shoot?!  Our mini- Cinderella Style, with Cami’s horse, Charro, adorable puppy, Zoey and hubby.
