Brayden is ONE! It seems like just yesterday I was shooting his mommy as one of my very favorite maternity sessions on the beach! Mama Katie, also a very close friend of mine, did a fantastic job putting this beach BBQ together and, in classic Katie fashion, had every detail covered. The BBQ was under a pavilion at Ocean Cay Park in Juno Beach, FL. Her crab theme was brought in to everything from the adorable centerpieces and matching banner to the delicious cake (made by Publix). Katie, with the help of a close friend, prepared the classic BBQ food herself……and, that pasta salad was a HIT! Visual Wave Design did an amazing job with the banner and the custom birthday hat was purchased on etsy.com. I have to say, this was the most fun I have had at a one year old’s party!

Mommy and Daddy have been stars of my wedding portfolio since 2007 :) It’s so awesome to see life full circle! This precious little bundle was a perfect model for her first Anne Geddes themed photo shoot.

Words cannot describe the deep emotion, pain and joy that happen all at once, when a baby is born…and that is said from the onlooker!  What a completely awesome experience today was.  Kenya was so gracious and controlled, so determined and strong, anticipating the arrival of her baby boy.  I arrived at the Reinhardt home, greeted by Kenya and Marty’s eight anxious children and her midwife, Jyl Krentz, at noon.  Canon Tyler was born into the arms of his older sister, Madison, with the Jyl, Dad and sister, Tori, standing by, at 3:44 p.m., 21 1/2 in & 8.6 oz.
